Customer Care Manager – Lloyds Banking Group (Dec 2001 – Nov 2009)
 
  • Led a team of specialist complaint handlers, responsible for investigating and resolving customer complaints across a range of retail banking products. My role included daily work flow planning, as well as resolving complaints directly for customers, both by telephone and in writing.
  • Special responsibility for handling complaints received by the Chief Executive’s office, including investigating, preparing a formal written response on behalf of the Chief Executive, and reporting on complaint root causes and corrective actions taken.
  • Analysed monthly complaints data for the Customer Care function (over 100 staff), and prepared reports for use at Executive board level outlining root causes, trends, costs etc.
  • Contributed to the development of training material for complaint handlers, and was involved in the training and support of new team recruits.
